The journey of a thousand posts begins…

Welcome to Blogging For Fun and Profit! I’ve created this site for several reasons. One, is that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of websites telling you how to get rich quick on the Internet. I don’t buy into those and I don’t think you do either. Second, I know several people who have taken the jump, put in a lot of hard work, and made a few bucks with a website, podcast, or blog. Thirdly, I know a few other people who worked hard, but more importantly worked smart, and were able to develop their passion into a full-time gig, working from home, from the beach, from the car (or RV) and I not only admire their passion, but I share it. Maybe you do, too…

Should you also share this passion, dear reader, I hope you read on. Let’s take a journey together. I’ll share what I know and learn, what works (and what I blew many sleepless nights on!) and so can you. One of my early mentors told me that if you love something enough, you should be able to earn a decent living from it. You may be passionate about painting, photography, homeschooling, podcasting, or herbal tea, but whatever your passion, are you willing (dare I say daring) to give it a shot?

If you’re looking for ideas, feedback motivation, or accountability, you’ve come to the right place. One of the things I’ve been passionate about my whole life, regardless of the subject is teaching, watching people learn, and then seeing them leave the nest to give it a go on their own.
